Is it worth it?

i have 13" macbook air - ultimate 2010. i'm student @ university , enjoyed having air portability, size, , power. however, 2011 refresh has come out, price retention of 2010 models have fallen dramatically (i purchased ultimate in january $1,800 , you'd lucky $1,200 on ebay.) that's devaluation of $100/month.

so, question is, sell macbook air , upgrade 2010 macbook pro 15" or keep macbook air?

use computer to:
-play games (wow, starcraft 2, , star wars: old republic)
-microsoft office - word , excel mainly.
-browse internet
-watch netflix.
-listen music.
-watch youtube videos.
-other general things.

worth sell air , spend $200-500 more on 2010 15" pro added gpu , cpu power, battery life, resale value, bigger , better screen?

open suggestions!
 

it doesn't seem benefit power. also, not sure macbook pro going have better resale value, since rumor has it, , it's pretty likely, 2012 going bring new case designs throughout line, , pretty drop resale value pro well.

unless want bigger screen, i'd stick air, since it's better university , portability etc , won't see major difference in using for.

not mention, if going 1200 on ebay, means end pu 1050 or 1100 cash after fees ebay , paypal, how more have pay macbook pro want?

RESOLVED: Geez...my spoiled daughter was disappointed when I gave her a new 11" MBA!

my daughter has 2010 white macbook (latest model...as of today) has warranty expiring soon. so, instead of buying applecare, thought i'd great dad , surprise new 11" base model macbook air (and sell macbook). give yesterday thinking she'd (since said thought cool @ local apple store last week), after 15 seconds, says doesn't want because there's no disc drive in music , dvds. told can rip , put file on mba or whatever, still said needs (despite other benefits of newer , lighter mba). use, 2011 mbp better mba, i'm not listening voice of customer/user in case! geez...she's seven! smart , detailed , knows wants, see myself taking son on weekend getaways every month starting in few years or   /r/firstworldproblems   Forums Macs ...
