Airport help?

i've posted on several different forums, , none of solutions have helped.

clueless went wrong. running os x snow leopard 10.6.8, , on tuesday came home find airport not connect wireless router. have never had problem trusty mac before except occasional random dropped connection (but fixed turning airport off on again), problem seems have no solution. reseting router doesn't work, turning aiport off , on doesn't work, , restarting mac doesn't work.

can see network , has 3 bars, when go connect says connection timeout, nomatter how many times click damned "connect" button. on own connect 5ghz frequency (i have 2 same router, 2.4ghz , 5ghz, 2.4ghz 1 works , connects to) , work fine, other web browsing such try log in wow or download song, drop connection , won't connect again few hours.

said, don't know happened. didn't change settings, wasn't home petes sake! of other computers in house (which aren't macs) work fine , unnaffected whatever went wrong, believe mac problem. don't think 10.6.8 update either since haven't updated system in few weeks, doesn't make sense screw things now.

try using mac @ different location. if doesn't work, have bad airport card.
