Need advise on assembling one imac from spare parts of two models
hi everyone
have 2 imacs have issues , wondered if hard take parts , make 1 decent working imac.
--> 20" inch c2d power supply died on me, after power failure refused turn on again.
--> imac 24" late 2006 model got ripped off ebay has terrible video card found out later flickered, freezes computer when use memory hungry apps , have force reboot, can not play youtube videos , green lines across screen., when create clip in imovie!
thinking maybe possible power supply of imac 24" can go imac 20" since 20" sores or maybe take video card of imac 20" , put imac 24" or put logic board imac 20" imac 24" case using power supply 20"s old video card.
here specs, advise solutions appreciated.

by way both have 1tb hard drives, 20" worked flawless us, sad

sounds fun project.
go on ifixit.com; have teardown 24" imacs. didn't see same emc number, model specs there repair guide power supply. supply sell seems fit both; search 661-4183 (the part number). once open both should clear if it'll work.
