Disable Text Selection When Right Clicking

is there way turn off selection of text under mouse pointer when right clicking on text. i'm using snow leopard.

tried checking in system preferences , didn't see me.

 

i withdraw question. behavior seems application specific.

CoD on Mac is Stuck in fail windowed mode.
