Lion favors 5ghz?

hi,

know if lion favors 5ghz on 2.4ghz? after upgrading lion, noticed macbook holding on the 5ghz frequency in places used switch stronger 2.4 ghz signal. not creating noticeable problem, wouldn't bug. know how os chooses frequency when network names (5ghz , 2.4ghz) same? router 4th gen aebs.

 

update: macbook hasn't moved did switch on stronger 2.4g frequency. not sure when happened, in general takes longer this.

RESOLVED: Geez...my spoiled daughter was disappointed when I gave her a new 11" MBA!

my daughter has 2010 white macbook (latest model...as of today) has warranty expiring soon. so, instead of buying applecare, thought i'd great dad , surprise new 11" base model macbook air (and sell macbook). give yesterday thinking she'd (since said thought cool @ local apple store last week), after 15 seconds, says doesn't want because there's no disc drive in music , dvds. told can rip , put file on mba or whatever, still said needs (despite other benefits of newer , lighter mba). use, 2011 mbp better mba, i'm not listening voice of customer/user in case! geez...she's seven! smart , detailed , knows wants, see myself taking son on weekend getaways every month starting in few years or   /r/firstworldproblems   Forums Macs ...
