12.5mm HDD in a UNIBODY Macbook

i've been searching online , forums have found conflicting answers multiple times. wondering if unibody macbook (late 2008) can hold 12.5mm tall hard disk drives or if can hold 9.5mm sized drives. know unibody macbook pros can, can't find clear answer late 2008 macbooks. has attempted put 12.5mm drive inside late 2008 macbook?
