androidcentral provides details of verizon's plans eliminate unlimited data plans of july 7th. previously reported, verizon doing away unlimited $29.99 plan presently available smartphones , replacing tiered plan. at&t, however, grandfathering in existing customers continue able use unlimited plan:
this grandfathering applies future upgrades, existing iphone 4 verizon customers able retain unlimited plan if upgrade iphone 5 when released.
