How do you change LAN settings on a mac?

my office doesn't have wi fi , have trying move away using pc mac @ work. in order connect our lan on pc open ie9 , change auto detect off , type in proxy server address.

when try chrome, there ton of proxy options how know 1 use?
 

system preferences -> ethernet -> advanced -> proxies.

it's basics, man. google first, before start asking such embarrassing questions.

What's the max amount of RAM an iMac can have to run BootCamp & Parallels Windows 7?
