Replaced HD, now screen won't work

so, decided replace 500gb hard drive on 21.5 inch imac (2010 model), , upgrade 2tb. bought hard drive, got guide ifixit.com install myself , went work. popped open, followed directions exactly, , went fine. once replaced hard drive , closed imac, once turned on screen black. started up, made start chime, sounded working fine, screen won't come on. i've gone , made sure 4 wires attach screen connected, , played around multiple times plugging them in , making sure correct. every single time turn on screen won't work! it's frustrating. have idea what's wrong here , how can fix it?
 

by mistake may have cause short inside , burned cpu. suspect have machine because apple not fixit free. has happen me last year

What's the max amount of RAM an iMac can have to run BootCamp & Parallels Windows 7?
