Don't understand the 2wire problem

i can't download lion because have qwest 2wire modem. why?

can download updates, , did gb of them yesterday. when try download lion "waiting..." icon. purchase shows in app store. called applecare , couldn't explain it, or me.

i'm crushed time weekend , couldn't store. travel work , try download lion when have lots of time tomorrow night @ hotel.

btw documented problem apple has gone on @ least 3 years know of. haven't found explanation yet why apple downloads not compatible 2wire modems. can explain it?
 

i have 2wire modem , works fine me. documented problems noted? if gave link mebbe help.

i'd try using different dns servers, maybe opendns or google's. had ipv6 problems once; since switching servers no more problems.

What's the max amount of RAM an iMac can have to run BootCamp & Parallels Windows 7?
