Powered USB Hub

hi folks,

i'm looking powered usb hub. apple cheaped out macbook pro usb ports i'm in need of additional 4-ish ports. however, need 1 has long cord place behind monitor, , 1 isn't insane price (like $50 @ staples).

intention hook ipad, external hd, iphone , camera @ same time.

suggestions?

edit: guess if selection of hubs long cords slim, go extension cable.

What's the max amount of RAM an iMac can have to run BootCamp & Parallels Windows 7?
