Screen stays black when trying to install Win7??

i have new 2011 mba , instal external drive when restarts instal win7 screen stays black. suppose happen or should :confused:

anyone? need fast response one.
 

a little more information helpful. how trying install windows 7? using bootcamp assistant? using bootable usb key bootcamp assistant creates? windows 7 install disc disc or iso image? @ point during install screen go "black"?

no, going black not normal...

What's the max amount of RAM an iMac can have to run BootCamp & Parallels Windows 7?
