Speck see thru case: 11" heat increase?!

update: (may 6th, 2011)..i started notice macbook air getting hot installed istat ran informal tests. suspected, speck products soft touch hard shell case causes mba temps rise.

04/12/2011 8pm cpu 56*c , gpu 59*c running safari , itunes without speck hard shell
04/12/2011 9pm cpu 83*c , gpu 91*c running safari , itunes speck hard shell. that's whopping 47% increase!

--shutdown macbook air , removed speck hard shell, stayed off night until next morning

04/13/2011 8am cpu 31*c , gpu 33*c without speck hard shell
04/13/2011 10am cpu 55*c , gpu 61*c speck hard shell added. that's a huge increase 75%

bottom line: have removed speck hard shell permanently observed significant rise in cpu gpu temps.

conversation apple "genius" named austin revealed apple macbook air's aluminum unibody chassis partly responsible heat dissipation , speck hard shell inhibits escaping heat.

used see thru satin on 11" c2d , thought fans came on processor struggling causing temp go up. have 1 on i5 , fans blazing away on same tasks (normally if stream net) did quick google , seems case cause heat increase.

find annoying happens after high value items , protect them possible damage hence using case (and moshi palm guards)

has else experienced this?
 

this interesting. have 1 on 13", haven't noticed significant heat difference. noticed 11" seemed bit more prone warming anyway, can imagine speck case doesn't help.

What's the max amount of RAM an iMac can have to run BootCamp & Parallels Windows 7?
