Apple Acquires 200+ Patents from Freescale Semiconductor

accoridng patentlyo, apple has recorded receipt of 200 patents , pending patent applications electronics company freescale semiconductor, inc. freescale division of motorola spun off in 2003. patents reportedly represent wide range of topics related computer hardware , wireless devices.
it's not clear apple's intentions patents or if part of sort of settlement.

What's the max amount of RAM an iMac can have to run BootCamp & Parallels Windows 7?
