Sync challenged!

sync challenged. looking help.
have serious need accurately , coordinate contacts , calendars work these three: iphone 4 , outlook 2007, , google. i use win 7 on laptop. so far getting jumbled mess contacts since 3 may have different pieces of information. calendar problem me many duplicate entries.
there tutorial, written clearly, step-by-step, how this?
confused when go sync iphone , message saying number of conflicts see 1 when tap review now, , not sure how go on next conflict.
final issue when sync message says example 25% of contacts changed, mean 25% of on laptop changed syncing phone, or mean opposite, 25% of on phone changed?
thinks very , ideas.
wish update info on phone first force outlook , google accept updates.
