Improving FPS on high-end iMac

well got brand-new 2011 imac, loaded:
i7 3.4 ghz, 6970m w/2gb vram, 2tb hdd + 256gb ssd, 16gb ram

went ahead , installed boot camp windows 7 64-bit , installed game i'm addicted to, mmo called rift (www.riftgame.com).

little disappointed see on medium graphics settings, i'm getting 20-23fps.

please don't reply , macs suck gaming or imac has laptop graphics card... if has useful advice improving framerate, i'd appreciate it.

oh, , tried updating graphics drivers had issues... desktop version of catalyst seems install, don't see difference, , mobility version says can't detect appropriate graphics card...

in device manager, says driver version 8.812.0.0
 

i install windows 7 well... how did set hdd it? you're not keeping on ssd... you?

What's the max amount of RAM an iMac can have to run BootCamp & Parallels Windows 7?
