Upgrading from Leopard to Snow Leopard..

i bought snow leopard while busy upgrade i'm doing now. i'm little confused... when run installation (it's running right now) automatically delete old files , clear out leopard? or have myself? , if how do that?

reason ask because when clicked hd install it, read "105gb free. total 158gb"

help!

What's the max amount of RAM an iMac can have to run BootCamp & Parallels Windows 7?
