New MBA, How to use old MBA on Wifi

my new macbook air arrived monday, , runs great. updated new computer using back-up of old mba on time capsule. disappointments losing few powerpc apps (spaceward ho, galactica, , mac ripper).

question first-gen mba. girlfriend use in place of dell. needs pretty minimal: surfing, email, , opening office documents. options:

1) fire old mba , delete documents, keeping same computer name wireless network. question: installed copy of iwork still authorized, given installed on new mba time capsule back-up? copy of snow leopard authorized?

2) start scratch , reformat old mba, buying new software needed. in case, iwork.

ideas?
 

1. work, sl doesn't need authorisation. , can change computer name in system preferences > sharing, not needed, old mba use different ip new mba.
same goes iwork.

What's the max amount of RAM an iMac can have to run BootCamp & Parallels Windows 7?
