Problem with install 10.6-7

so installed gm fine on air imac giving me issues. it's 09 i7. don't have orig disks came mac. have flash drive air , 10.5. when boot usb or cd 10.5 error after language select saying osx can't installed on machine please restore time machine. said yes disk utility. erased drive , still message. how can solve issue install gm on fresh drive?
 

go gm install, right click , show contents, extract , burn .dmg dvd or flash drive, install on fresh install.

What's the max amount of RAM an iMac can have to run BootCamp & Parallels Windows 7?
