Worries over newly ordered MacBook Pro - Lion/Snow Leopard

hello! first post, please bear me :)

i'm pretty happy ordered new 15" mbp 2.0 ghz school (custom built 128 gb ssd , 15" hr anti-glare matte option, couldn't stand glossy ones)

old computer old...a powerbook g4 2002 still running very, well, despite age. running tiger on @ moment, school stated should have computer not more 3 years old, decided put in cash new comp.

have read few posts throughout forums , web searches microsoft office 2004 not compatible lion...i not 2008 nor 2011 version, , rather stick ms office 2004 (since know how use well) if meant staying on snow leopard os. however, had question though - since mac custom built , ordered on july 19, 2011, mean come installed lion already? :( have licenses/software multitude of other ppc programs , love have snow leopard instead of lion, , since of these ppc programs won't run under lion, in bind. read on forums users not "downgrade" snow leopard when machine comes pre-installed lion. case? possible me clean wipe of hard drive , install snow leopard, since have install dvd? there options @ point in shoes?

everyone! appreciate it.

welcome macrumours, chances getting mbp snow leopard installed.

reason 1 : can pay , lion upgrade
reason 2 : july 16th still before lions official release.

upgraded powerbook g4 mbp.

upgraded tiger sl , still run smooth. of course slower mbp.
