SD Card speed

looking @ 13" has added benefit see sd card slot. wondering if speed of (given fast card of course) can act second hard drive , thereby compensate relatively small 128gig ssd?
know way slower regardless 256 ssd cheaper too...;)

thinking data files, media etc. or slow compared external usb based hd? think faster don't know.

insights?

short version: not fast enough, reliability issues, doesn't fit flush, way more expensive in terms of storage space. ($100+ 64gb)

What's the max amount of RAM an iMac can have to run BootCamp & Parallels Windows 7?
