Transferring Apps from Old MBP to New MBP

hello all-

bought new 15" mbp replace 2008 15" mbp. want transfer music, photos, , applications new mbp.

music , photos no-brainer, i'm trying figure out best way transfer apps new mbp have lost several of installation discs came applications when bought them.

have experience this?

What's the max amount of RAM an iMac can have to run BootCamp & Parallels Windows 7?
