openMPI and Macosx

hello, guys hope can on this.

i've been given final year project in uni project requires openmpi. decided use macosx operating system (the other option linux).

i've spent lot of hours searching web information openmpi lacks proper documentation. read seems openmpi installed in macosx (snow leopard) without fortran compiler?

please if find proper documentation , tutorials on how install openmpi on macosx helpful me.

it there. can use either c or c++ (i think still need use gcc compiler don't think llvm supports yet).

alternatively compile own gcc fortran compiler , own version of openmpi if have use fortran. pretty straightforward.
