would it be stupid to buy a 2010 quad core now ?

i have been waiting new imacs forever, out, changed mind
-still no matte screen
-21 looks small, 27 looks huge
-yellow tint problem still somehow present
-gaming issues

don't macpro performance basic stuff (ilife, photoshop, office, maybe c/java programming) , playing wow , sc2, looks apple desktop like. buying pc out of question , don't care money spent if can live thing in next 5/6 years.... don't need monitor since own 20" matte acd still love. feel bit stupid buying such beast, should wait ? there remote chances of upgrades happening before december ? have been looking @ refurbs while, no mac pro has popped on italian store...
know, hurt bit buy thing , see refresh after few weeks...
 

there no hardware update mac pro with. q4 '11 when xeons meant mac pro scheduled released looking @ several months till update.

if usage light, take @ used mac pros. first gen mac pro should decent upgraded gpu. go around 1000$ nowadays.

What's the max amount of RAM an iMac can have to run BootCamp & Parallels Windows 7?
