How would a larger screen be implemented?

i not here debate if next iphone larger screen, how potentially introduced , how work current applications:

"retina" display maintain same resolution , have more pixels, or keep same amount of pixels , lose dpi?

apps have reformatted new screen iphone 4 (else blurry or small)?

love larger screen, see many problems them trying this. thoughts?
 

either apps scaled, or they'd have "zoom-in" feature, ipads.

What's the max amount of RAM an iMac can have to run BootCamp & Parallels Windows 7?
