MBP Should I upgrade to the 256GB SSD?

i thinking purchasing 13 in. macbook pro. there significant advantages upgrading 256 gb solid stare drive? faster or more stable? worth $600?
 

i go if have money, it'll resale value of machine i'd imagine , ssd faster hdd.

What's the max amount of RAM an iMac can have to run BootCamp & Parallels Windows 7?
