Major iDisk problem!!

i worked on spreadsheet in excel 2011 6 straight hours, saving every 5 minutes or more. document resided on idisk. when completed spreadsheet closed out , went attach email. when opened attachment, shock work gone! if in still in same state 6 hours prior! rebooted mac thinking maybe had cached old version , tried downloading form me.com site idisk work gone! did go?! there kind if excel cache file stores previous versions or recent ones? or 1 idisk? help!
 

run sync , see if changes there.

What's the max amount of RAM an iMac can have to run BootCamp & Parallels Windows 7?
