When offline does GameCenter still get achievements?

i know gives offline error, still gather achievements games game center compatible? have read various searches load them once internet available , run game again. true?

reason going on 7 day cruise , may play few games here , there , won't have internet on iphone, achievements lol

advice!
 

that's been experience when playing games 'angry birds' , 'cut rope'. achievements load/ process once establish connection.

What's the max amount of RAM an iMac can have to run BootCamp & Parallels Windows 7?
