Looking to upgrade memory

i of course doing through owc http://eshop.macsales.com/shop/memory/mac-pro-memory#1066-memory


mac pro still has default ram of 6x1gb, , i'm wondering need know upgrading. i, say, buy 2 4gb sticks , pop them empty slots , done or need keep in mind i'm not aware of? know 2009 mps benefit using 3 of slots on each processor tells me it's negligible.

What's the max amount of RAM an iMac can have to run BootCamp & Parallels Windows 7?
