Way to Restore iPhone SMS?

hi

have been using ios 5 (betas 1,2 , 3), have had enough of problems itunes regarding restoring them when new beta released.

understand if downgrade ios 5 ios 4.3.4, can no longer use backup restore phone.

have found can save sms pdf, csv etc. store them on computer, once ios 5 released in fall there way take them pdf/csv , put them onto iphone?

What's the max amount of RAM an iMac can have to run BootCamp & Parallels Windows 7?
