apple tv stops when mac screensaver starts

my apple tv has been working fine many months since purchase. today reason when playing movies mac itunes on apple tv, mac computer screensaver comes on after default timeout , stops apple tv playing movie. don't think i've changed of settings?

never used this, movies played fine , mac screensaver somehow "knew" apple tv in use never came on – no problem.

have 4 step process follow – 1) turn on apple tv; 2) turn off mac screen saver; 3) watch movie; 4) remember turn mac screensave on.

used 2 step process – 1) turn on apple tv; 2) watch movie.

want go 2 step process if possible.

i'm using os 10.6.8

What's the max amount of RAM an iMac can have to run BootCamp & Parallels Windows 7?
