doing graphical intensive task throttle cpu because of apple approach of balancing gpu , cpu load efficiency. can block efficiency downloading program called throttlestop. boot camp users.

2. check set multipliers turbo.

3. uncheck c1e

4. click save , turn on

5. ssd , hdd speed gain (optional), see quoted info unclewebb (author of throttlestop)

it depends on cpu. if you're running 2011 mbp not needed since sandy bridge powerful.

What's the max amount of RAM an iMac can have to run BootCamp & Parallels Windows 7?
