Time Machine and quick books

i have been trying dad mac @ company. asked me find way files quickbooks, invoices , such, hard drive. , when tried use time machine had no idea doing. tried going apple store of course none of workers of "ummm..well see..ummm.." :mad: possible use regular hard drive works fine hp on mac using time machine. or there way backup files on quickbooks. mac reaally complicated me. reeaaallllyyyyy need help. please. :(

What's the max amount of RAM an iMac can have to run BootCamp & Parallels Windows 7?
