Why Did You Choose 256GB over 128GB? (disregarding i7)

i have mba 256gb , wondering if should exchange 128gb. i'm curious why guys chose 256gb on 128gb when there's external storage , cloud storage available hold everything. please don't reply chose 256gb because of i7 processor doesn't relate storage capacity.

i'm debating whether or not if should regain $400 going i7 256gb i5 128gb.
 

because of 117gb lossless itunes library.

What's the max amount of RAM an iMac can have to run BootCamp & Parallels Windows 7?
