iTunes snapping to playing song

has noticed when you're playing song in itunes , looking @ different place in library, when song finishes itunes snap new song? there way disable this? i'm attempting organize itunes library , listen music @ same time...
 

i use playlist containing entire library around similar problem. playlists continue play when looking @ other playlists or main library. use playlist play songs while using main library organising.

What's the max amount of RAM an iMac can have to run BootCamp & Parallels Windows 7?
