so, i'm no newbie computers. i'm trying wipe out mbp , put clean version of osx leopard on it...
i'ved tried:
1.
just putting in cd , run cd, click restart, hold option down onboot , brings mac hd shows cd well, click cd... walk away 30 mins... nothing has happened, frozen on screen. 2.
putting in cd, shutting mac down, press power button , press 'c' load cd drive, brings white screen, screen shows before little gray apple logo shown. 3.
i made 16gb flashdrive loadable option , put osx on using disk utility that, got same problem did when tried #1, pressing apple key+opt+shift+del on load... gave me same error got #2.
anyone?!? there someway start install while running current version of mac , not having restart? dont why isn't working. recognizing both cd drives / flash drives... 1 option selected, seems freeze up.
try removing usb devices if have them plugged in, instead of "c", hold "option" key. should give options of bootable media.
