Any reason to update from 4.2.1 on my 3GS?

i'm running 06.15.00 bb unless there's crucial i'm not aware of, assume it's best stick version. reasons can think of update @ point? checked few months , seemed 4.2.1 still pretty viable...

What's the max amount of RAM an iMac can have to run BootCamp & Parallels Windows 7?
