Force restart out of XBMC without unplugging ATV2?

.... , without atv2 remote? i've tried "killall appletv" , "killall lowtide" in terminal via ssh, , doesn't seem work. found out newly-paired 6 dollar cheapo universal remote doesn't force restart either.

ideas? i'm trying avoid buying new atv2 stick-of-chewing-gum remote.

What's the max amount of RAM an iMac can have to run BootCamp & Parallels Windows 7?
