I bought an external hard drive but it was for Windows

i want download lot more music , upload lot more photos on mbp bought 2tb wd harddrive. (link: http://www.amazon.com/western-digital-elements-desktop-external/dp/b002qebmci/re f=sr_1_1?ie=utf8&qid=1307759936&sr=8-1 )but if move of photos , movies , music there, how organize it?

i'm thinking maybe move whole itunes , iphotos files external hd?
there sort of protection cover buy it?

says on description: designed use windows-based computers. can reformatted use macs.
how can format mac?

should try reformat 1 mac or return , buy pre-formatted mac version?
 

it can reformatted work macs, description reads. ship formatted in ntfs mac osx can not write to. plug in , go utilities > disc utility, select new hard drive , chose format in mac os extended (journaled). alternatively reformat fat32 readable mac osx windows, if you're planning use multiple computers.

What's the max amount of RAM an iMac can have to run BootCamp & Parallels Windows 7?
