Upgrading from Lion DP 4 to Retail Lion

hi, have found lots of people starting talk this, people say, developers/ non developers have dp 4 lion installed on mac can't upgrade retail mac lion app store, true? please me find out, have dp 4 installed , if have go snow leopard upgrade, sounds silly , hectic , annoying upgrade lion. should if have downgrade snow leopard upgrade, there alternative?

What's the max amount of RAM an iMac can have to run BootCamp & Parallels Windows 7?
