What should I test when buying a used iPhone?

a friend wants buy old iphone cl , asked advice. while buy i-devices on cl, have never made list of things test. has inspired make list benefit others well.

0. @ cosmetic condition. scratches on screen, back, scuffing on trim, cracks near earphone jack , charger. remove screen protector or case.

here items test if looks fine:

1. turn silent switch speaker , switch vibrate
if phone doesn't vibrate:
-either vibrator bad or switch bad

2. ask call you:
-test ringer
-test speaker phone
-test earphones

3. press home button go springboard few times ensure isn't stuck

4. pinch , zoom few times test digitizer

5. open safari , rotate phone few times test accelerometer

else?
 

if jailbreaken search winterboard , see if fake screen enabled

What's the max amount of RAM an iMac can have to run BootCamp & Parallels Windows 7?
