Icon resizing slider

this seems have dropped in lion.

know can right-click in folder , show view options , way, that's clunky. used use slider lot, make photo thumbnails large enough view when working them, restore down normal size afterwards.

there way switch slider on?
 

view > show status bar

What's the max amount of RAM an iMac can have to run BootCamp & Parallels Windows 7?
