toolbar icons not working in safari

help! have been using safari without issue on ipad 1 until yesterday. new page, bookmarks , add bookmarks icon not work. forward , arrows do. ideas?:confused:
 

i suggest quit app , delete apps on multi-tasking bar , shut down ipad. when restart ipad ram memory clear , when restart safari should work correctly.

What's the max amount of RAM an iMac can have to run BootCamp & Parallels Windows 7?
