Power Mac G4 "Yikes!" - Trying to install OS X Snow Leopard onto a new hard drive

hello, title says, trying install os x snow leopard onto power g4 new (but partitioned) hard drive, , having problems. whenever hold "c" after hearing power chime, nothing , show flashing finder , question mark. when hold down alt/option shows 2 buttons - 1 "refresh" arrow, , 1 looks "next" arrow, nothing when click it. please assist me this? in advance.

also, first post on forum, , i'd give warm , humble hello all!

it not possible install snow leopard on ppc machine.

What's the max amount of RAM an iMac can have to run BootCamp & Parallels Windows 7?
