Boot from a usb flash drive?

well possible, i've been searching , , there many threads out there saying won't work power pc , on intel macs. , few saying boot..

somehow remember did boot usb drive , reason doesn't work when restart , hit option button , doesn't give choice..

anyways, dreaming , , not going work @ all?
 

your dreaming. powerpc macs can boot externally firewire.

What's the max amount of RAM an iMac can have to run BootCamp & Parallels Windows 7?
