i5 or i7 MBA 11" ???

hey guys.. need little help.. on way 11" am.. not sure way go.. i5 or i7 .. ultimate. heard stories i7 run hot , battery life wont i5 ... useing web surfing , email ... have 256 ssd rather have better battery life , not need fry eggs on it.. input great! before head on apple..

What's the max amount of RAM an iMac can have to run BootCamp & Parallels Windows 7?
