there bugs in upgrading, if you're upgrading .0 release. remember when leopard came out, using specific os extension caused installer hang @ blue screen, , computer stuck in non-booting, non-upgradable state. apple bsod.
long story short: let other people guiny pig, or have backup. things should go smoothly, best not find out hard way if cannot afford downtime.
far apps go, they'll work no problem. blizz has lion dp right now, , i'm sure they're making sure wow , sc2 work it.

i'm thinking of upgrading 2011 27" imac's ram stock 4gb 12gb. plan on installing , running windows 7 home premium (64-bit) through boot camp , parallels. what's max amount of ram can have installed in case? windows 7 recognize 12gb installed without problem? as long install 64-bit version of windows, can utilize of ram. 2011 imac can take 32gb (4x8gb) though 12gb should plenty.
