White remote no longer works?

hi,

have 24" imac came white remote, have admit never use it, apart when want movie trailers :)

anyway, have installed lion, no longer works?

ideas how can restore function?
 

it old enough battery may dead. push 'dimple' on bottom end, , pull battery tray out. try new one, or see if can test old one.

What's the max amount of RAM an iMac can have to run BootCamp & Parallels Windows 7?
