dual-core i7 option - worth it?

is worth cost i7 upgrade on $799 model? if quad-core i'd in for sure, not sure if it's worth dual-core.

otherwise i'm psyched update. mini i've been waiting for. personally, have liked optical drive kept, can live without it.

What's the max amount of RAM an iMac can have to run BootCamp & Parallels Windows 7?
