Screen Gradient - dark at the top, bright at the bottom

hi folks,

i've seen quite few people comment new macbook airs have gradient effect @ bottom of screen. have screen gradient issue it's not quite same - screen starts out little bit darker @ top , move down screen gets brighter. 13" 2011 mba has lg screen.

got same issue? love machine, i'm wondering if maybe should return , go macbook pro until decent screens in airs.

What's the max amount of RAM an iMac can have to run BootCamp & Parallels Windows 7?
